- Donald Trump is hosting a lunch for the top AI leaders on Tuesday.
- He posted a seating chart, with Jensen Huang and Elon Musk by his side.
- OpenAI and Anthropic were sitting curiously far from the president. Apple was missing.
President Donald Trump's seating chart is a who's who of AI.
Trump is hosting a "Super Intelligence Luncheon" on Tuesday, dining with the CEOs of most major AI labs and tech companies. Elon Musk will be on Trump's left; Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be on his right.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai are both one seat removed from Trump. Interestingly, two of the other big AI labs — OpenAI and Anthropic — are far removed from Trump.
OpenAI will be represented by its president, Greg Brockman, while CEO Sam Altman continues his media blitz for the company's DevDay. Brockman is positioned across the table and five seats down from Trump.
OpenAI's sometimes-contentious partner, Microsoft, will also be present. CEO Satya Nadella is positioned closer to Trump than Brockman.
Anthropic has long had a rocky relationship with the Trump administration. Its CEO, Dario Amodei, is sitting six seats down from Trump, almost at the end of the table. Amodei is further from Trump than the CEOs of chip companies like Broadcom and Micron.
Tom Brown, who served as an emissary for Anthropic during government negotiations, will also be at the lunch. He is sitting on the opposite side of Trump, at the end of the table.

Some other interesting lunchers: Palo Alto Networks' Nikesh Arora, ServiceNow's Bill McDermott, and "All-In" co-host Chamath Palihapitiya. Palantir is represented by both its CEO, Alex Karp, and its CTO, Shyam Sankar.
Amazon will be represented by its founder and executive chairman, Jeff Bezos, rather than current CEO Andy Jassy.
Noticeably absent: Apple. As the company aims to catch up in the AI race, neither former CEO Tim Cook nor current CEO John Ternus is listed as a guest at the event.
The lunch began at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. It is named after "Super Intelligence," the proposed renaming of AI that Trump announced last week.
"The use of the word 'artificial' makes intelligence fake," Trump said at the time. "It is not fake. It's actually amazing."
